GLOBETROTTING
Seeing what´s out there in the big world.

Meeting the people, the population of different countries.
Seeing the sights, hearing the sounds, smelling the air, feeling the heat OR the cold weather.
The experience – the adventure – the excitement of the WORLD !

Civilisation and non-globalisation – the new – the old – the futuristic – the ancient.
Seeing the world is one of our life´s greatest adventures. The many cultures all over the globe and their different ways of living, special rituals, religions and architecture.

I love exploring. What else is there ? Life is a study and the world broadens your view enormously. You can learn so much and seeing is believing and knowing and feeling. Something for the eye, something to remember – something to make you understand that there is always something bigger and more phenomenal out there.

Even in your own neighbourhood and your city and the surrounding areas where you live, you can explore
things if you don´t have money enough to travel all over.

I have been to many many countries and places and cities. I have seen a lot and never grow tired of sight-seeing and learning all there is to learn about the people and the culture at the place I am.

My favourite places on the planet is:

1: EGYPT, more specifically, Luxor (Temple of Karnak), Aswan, sailing on the Nile, Giza plateau,
Valley of the Kings, Temple of Philae and Abu Simbel.
2: VENICE, Italy.
3: NEW YORK.
4: LONDON.
5: TUNESIA, the Sahara dessert, Matmata, The salt lake, Sousse.
6: BRUGGE, Belgium.
7: CARCASONNE, France.
8: FLORENCE, Italy
9: BARCELONA, Spain.
10: TAJ MAHAL, Acra, India.
11: WIEN, Austria.
12: PARIS
13: STOCKHOLM
14: AIX-EN-PROVENCE
15: SAN FRANCISCO

Cities like: Prague, Budapest, Amsterdam, Bruxelles, Copenhagen, Lisboa, Geneva, Munich, Frankfurt, St. Petersburg, Montreal, San Diego, Sydney, Rio De Janeiro, Bankok, Rome, Bologna, Madrid, Athens, Montpellier, Oxford, New Orleans, Casablanca, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Johannesburg, Chicago, Mexico City and Istanbul are all absolute wonderful and interesting places to see and visit and explore.
These amazing cities are all worth a nice visit and there is always so much new to discover.

It´s not everywhere in the world you find the same beauty, feeling and architecture: Los Angeles, New Delhi, Rotterdam or in the eastern block of Europe which is still under re-construction, like Halle, Dresden in East Germany (even the suburbs of the eastern section of Berlin), Rumania, Poland, Bosnia-Herzegovina are still being rebuild after the iron curtain fell, and many cities in Germany were re-build again after the bombings during the Second world war, but unfortunately, what seems to be, without the help from any architects.

I think that architecture and buildings in general is of huge importance. Older fashioned style is incredible, but some new modern hi-tech buildings can also be extremely fascinating. I think the skyline of New York is fabulous and breathtaking.
Nature is BREATHTAKING. Mountains, lakes, the ocean, isles, the jungle, the forest, cornfields, rivers, the dessert, The Himalaya mountains, the Alps, the Rocky mountains, vulcanos, the ile, Mississippi river, Niagara Falls, the Dead sea, the Black sea, Hawaii, Barbados, Amazonas, Grand Canyon, Nordkap, Greenland, Yellowstone, Alhambra, Sangri-La, Pompeii, Akropolis, Stonehenge, Postojnas Caves, Angkor-Vat, Nikko, The Chinese Wall, Victoria Falls, Mammut caves, Mount Rushmore, Chichen-Itzá, Panama kanal, Iguassú Falls, Machu Picchú and much much more.
These places are really beautiful and when you see some of these things with your own eyes it will take you to another dimension.

America is very young, new, modern, hi-tech and a skyskraber country….with lot´s more of course. Europe and Afrika, Latin America, Asia (except Japan maybe) is very old and VERY different from each other. Every cotinent and country have it´s own special treasures, so many languages and rituals, skin colours and appearances.
Planet Earth is a wonder.
We should all do what we can to keep it clean, beautiful and a joy to live here !

Ramses 2
Other spellings: Rameses, Ramesses

King of Ancient Egypt (1279- 1213 BCE), the 3rd ruler of the 19th Dynasty.

Ramses 2 greatest achievements were enlarging the territory south into Nubia, strengthening his position against the Libyans and conquering the western Asia Minor, which had been under Egyptian control two centuries earlier.
In the Levant his greatest opponents were the Hittites.
Ramses 2 is remembered through some of the most exquisite monuments in Egypt. Some were already erected, but he usurped them, like the temple at Abu Simbel and the Ramesseum at Thebes. And he completed the temple at Abydos, that was started by his father, Seti 1. Ramses 2 had more than 100 children.
