BIOGRAPHY


Lucas Alexander (born in Denmark May 22, 1980)
is a
multifaceted artist.

Singer, musician, performer, actor, model, and humanitarian activist.



Early life

Born to parents Erling Breinholm (a Danish lawyer and singer) and
Janne Olsson Lundfold (a half Danish/half Swedish pop/folk singer,
guitarist and kindergarten teacher). An upper-class family on his father's side.
On his mother's side, the Olsson family, Lucas Alexander has a famous aunt,
the formidable and magnificent Swedish/American actress, singer
and entertainer, Ann-Margret (born Olsson, married Smith).




Career: Music - Theatre - Modelling

 

Lucas Alexander is a singer with classical opera training,
but has mostly been singing rock, blues, avant-garde and heavy metal,
and has made music of many different musical genres. He is currently working
on his solo album, and has recorded a great number of songs for his coming album,
and is performing with his solo-band (a band of 9 members).

Lucas Alexander began his musical career singing traditionals, opera
and pop songs, before he became the lead singer in the experimental death-metal /
punk-rock bands "The Cannibals" and "The Firefly Rocket", performing live in
different parts of Europe. He formed the band "Lucas Alexander & The Angelic Devils"
in 2004, and his own solo band in 2007, which is performing with all over.

 




Lucas Alexander began acting as a very young child (at age 4) in a Danish
children's play. Since then he appeared in several plays ranging from kindergarten
plays, school plays and amateur theatre to more official classical stage acting, playing
parts in plays by Shakespeare, Hans Christian Andersen, Cecil Bødker, The Grimm Brothers,
Charles Dickens, Harold Pinter, Edward Albee, Strindberg, a few biblical adaptations and
also appeared in a few films. He attended drama schools in both Denmark and England.



Also a trained Method and Shakespearian actor at the Shakespearian Studio
and The Danish Theatre Academy & several other acting schools.
He is also a psychology student and studied history as well.





He was part of forming a theatre group in London, that did a lot of avant-garde,
artistic, political and controversial plays and pieces. At the same time, he also did
more conventional and classic work, like Shakespeare´s "Hamlet" and "Romeo and
Juliet", Arthur Miller´s "Death of a Salesman" and Edward Albee´s "Zoo Story".

He began a modelling career in Denmark, England & USA in the late 90's,
with former fiancée, British model Camilla Rendero, and after that he did a lot of
modelling for gothic, punk and fetish fashion.





He has done an extensive amount of charity work, working in the field
with the homeless and the outcasts, and has written and produced a big charity
project album with artists from all over the world, participating on the song
"Fighting Against World Misery".

  





   
Writing is another hobby. Lucas is also doing speak for TV programs, documentaries, cartoons
and reading stories + fairy tales.

 




He has also made a recording of fairy tales, written by Hans Christian Andersen &
The Brothers Grimm, reading them both in Danish and English.

Lucas has also recorded a 20-song duet album with his former wife, German singer and
Queen of punk - Nina Hagen.





He had his first record release, singing on Hagens album "Big Band Explosion",
and has performed with her live all over the world.







Lucas is currently living in Copenhagen, Denmark, and has lived all over the world...
Los Angeles, New York, London and Berlin.





Alexander's musical projects and recordings is a varied collection of songs
from symphonic, heavy metal, hard rock, blues, pop, electronic, ballads,
dance, avant-garde with a very gothic approach.

In 2007 he created "The Royal Gothic Family" as a play and live role-playing game
with fellow actors from the Danish subcultural underground scene. He was also part
of creating a website community basically for Danish underground circles, artists,
musicians, actors, DJ´s and subcultures like the punk, goth, heavy-metal scene,
called REBELLIC.DK : www.rebellic.dk


The ballad version of Lucas Alexanders charity song "Fighting Against World Misery"
was recorded with the late great legendary Danish actress, Bodil Udsen, who
was like a grandmother for Lucas since childhood, and in memory of her "last song"
and great artistic legacy, the duet is being reproduced and is set for release in 2009
